Meanwhile
11 Nov 2022 – 28 Jan 2023
NorthSite Contemporary Arts
Meanwhile pays homage to the collective creative experience. Presenting the works of Australian artist group, Sixfold Project, the exhibition embraces simultaneous art production across disparate geographic locations, time zones and emotional conditions.
Meanwhile probes and challenges the artists’ interpretations of time and place within personal philosophical frameworks. At times, shared. At times, unique.

This assemblage is one of two collaborative works offering a peek into the artists’ studio. Artworks and objects from studio processes, fragments and discards show the artists’ practice in its creative development. These pieces often remain in the artist studio as references for ideas, materials and processes, and are not necessarily intended to become exhibition works, but are a vital part of the artists’ arsenal.
